In today’s world of high stress and “fast-food” lifestyles, Beth has expanded her bodywork practice to include Wellness Coaching. At the HEART of Beth’s coaching is compassion. For Beth, the best definition of compassion is “caring deeply from an objective place.”
From the objective place Beth moves to compassionate action and journeys with her clients by asking motivating questions, using appreciative inquiry and deep listening skills; then brainstorming with the client and reflecting back to the client so the client is empowered by his/her own self compassion and change happens!
Because compassion is at the HEART of coaching for Beth, she has started a Compassionate Action Discussion Group on the 3rd Monday of the Month at 7pm. Please come willing to share, learn and move into somatic practices that open the heart center.
Currently Beth is developing other Coaching Groups, Such as, Wellness Wednesday: a lunch time group to address various overall wellness topics such as stress and the effect on the body, Diet is a four letter word! and other motivating topics. The anticipated start for Wellness Wednesday will be in March. So please check back with the calendar. Future groups will be centered on non-violent communication and how shifting our communication style will reduce stress and improve wellness.
Coaching can be a very private matter that doesn’t fit into the group setting. Beth offers individual coaching sessions. Ideally, the first session is used to gather information about health and wellness interests, ideas and motivations. Future sessions are directed by the client’s needs. Generally, the coaching relationship develops over the course of 3-6 months. Individual coaching sessions can focus on weight management, exercise/movement practices, stress management, or other life style changes. As your Wellness Coach, Beth will partner with you to create the habits that will improve your overall wellness.
As an independent distributor for Herbalife, Beth can offer you a program to address weight management issues and cellular nutrition. Understanding expressions like “you are what you eat” and “if the belly is healthy, the body is health” are at the core of the personalize Wellness session. Exploring the “what, when and hows” of your eating are essential to the change process for wellness.
Beth uses all her knowledge to develop personalized practices to reduce stress, increase exercise, improved nutrition and partner in healing with a heart centered focus. Healing and Health happen Through The Body.
